Information
Introducing French born Jean-Edouard de Rochebouët, he was the one who helped develop 'méthode champenoise' wines from Argentina in the early days of Domaine Chandon in Mendoza.
Jean has created a brilliant sparkling rose from high altitude vineyards in the much sought-after Tupungato wine region. Staying true to his French roots, using the Champagne production methods to create and experiment.
His hand produced wines reflects his French heritage, and his accuracy with the minimun details in this small batch of sparkling wines that shines through.
A delicate golden salmon-pink colour with brilliant hints, nice perception of tiny and an abundance of persistent bubbles in the glass. Complex, with elegant notes of toasted bread and almonds, subtle presence of floral descriptors and amusing aromas of wild raspberries and strawberries. Smooth palate, velvety, refreshing and complex.
