Introducing French born Jean-Edouard de Rochebouët, he was the one who helped develop 'méthode champenoise' wines from Argentina in the early days of Domaine Chandon in Mendoza.
His hand produced wines that reflects his French heritage, and his accuracy with the minimun details in this small batch of sparkling wines that shines through.
What's not to love about this? Deliciously fruity and finely balanced with superb brioche / shortbready notes on the nose due to its spending 12 months on the lees in bottle, pale straw in colour with consistent tiny bubbles.
A blend of 50 / 50 Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Uco Valley fruit; representing another string to Argentina's increasingly sophisticated bow, this is a very convincing and delightfully commercial traditional method wine.
