Information
Ahhh, the Brioso. A magnificent, muscular, unctuous 'Bordeaux blend' comprising Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot in proportions dependent on the vintage, capable of long ageing and wonderfully approachable in its youth. 15 months in 100% new French oak barrels, a triumph.
"A deep, velvety yet firm colour. The Cabernet Sauvignon shows very well, with red and black fruit aromas followed by an elegant grip over florality. The other grapes blend in well to add flavours and potential complexity. There is a fine, lifted finish to this very well made wine."

"Black, ripe, cassis and black plum, with cedar coming through, the oak polished, and there is an elegance to the character on the palate too. The palate is really smooth and fresh, with great spicy tannins and lovely dry extract."
