Black and blue in the glass with a pronounced nose that offers masses of sweet-scented black fruits and milky-creamy chocolate.
The texture is quite luscious but not 'old school' in any way. Far from it, the oak is subtle and prim, allowing the fruit to express plenty of crunchy black fruit character with a happy kiss of liquorice on the end.
This is a wine that clearly points towards a great future for this winery, a relative newcomer to Rio Negro and one that is bound to grow in reputation.
